Production Designer Intern
We are looking for a Production Designer Intern to join our rapidly growing agency for an exciting paid internship.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To accurately create prepress ready production art for print vendors
Assist with making layout (graphic and text) revisions, editing photos and vector drawings
Assist SixSpeed Designers and Art Directors with duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and other Mac-based computer software
Comfortable working with print vendors and have an understanding of preparing files for print
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One years’ experience in production graphic design and appropriate educational background
He/she has worked for clients in the action sports, packaged goods, or beverage industries
Comfortable with duties that constantly expand their job description
Keen eye for detail and ability to proof
He/she will understand events and brand activation
Hours: 30 hours per week Duration: 3 month internship Pay: $800/month

Agency Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for AP/AR Specialist to support our rapidly growing advertising agency.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Costing:
Assist Art Directors and Project Managers with job estimates and project cost plans
Work with Art Directors and Project Managers to manage project cost variances
Issue purchase orders as needed and maintain an open purchase order log
Accounts Payable:
Matching, batching, coding and entering approved vendor invoices and expense reports
Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with vendors or employees
Ensure all invoices for the month are entered into the current month
Monthly review vendor statements and request any missing invoices
Liaison with various company vendors
Prepare and manage a list of accruals
Sort and deliver company mail daily
Billing and Accounts Receivable:
Compile job billable hours and vendor costs to create accurate and timely client invoices
Maintain an accurate aging report
Make collection calls if necessary
Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Accounting preferred and direct experience in duties listed above
Must be detail oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong time management, organizational and customer service skills, be able to multi-task and be a team player
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Accounting Software, Gmail, and Google Docs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have experience at another advertising agency or similar business
He/she will be comfortable with duties that constantly expand their job description

Senior Designer
We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our rapidly growing agency for an exciting position.

This Senior Designer job will be 25% direction and 75% execution. SixSpeed is a nimble agency and we are looking for a employee that is a quick study, can wear multiple hats – and can manage multiple projects among several clients.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Appropriate educational background (bachelor’s degree in visual communications or equivalent)
Demonstrate a solid understanding of production techniques, options, budgets and project timing
Expertise with InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite and other Mac-based computer software
Ability to support team design strategy through mood and storyboard concepts
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Video Production desired but not required
Do whatever it takes to meet client objectives and timelines
Execute both creative and production work, not just direct
Maintain the highest quality of work regardless of project
Strive to add value in any task you’re assigned
Confront challenges head on and solve them
Excel in a constantly changing workplace
Play well with the rest of the team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
